Description

Composition of the insect repellent

Product composed exclusively of active ingredients. The selected raw materials all have properties that contribute to the expected effectiveness:

Neem oil and essential oil of lemon eucalyptus: by their strong repulsive power masks the smell of sweat of the horse
The essential oil of lavandin (Lavandin oil CAS No. 91722-69-9, 0.1% m/m, TP19): Strong repellent power

Also contains: Esterified vegetable oils, Vitamin E

Directions for use
Shake before use.
Perform 7 to 8 sprays on each side of the body, avoiding contact with the eyes and nostrils.
Spread on the coat with the EKIN shine glove or a brush.
Works immediately. Reapply after 48 hours

Its composition in the form of dry oil does not evaporate and remains effective up to 48h.
The oily form does not allow the flat flies or ticks to fix themselves durably on the hairs or the skin.

Les tiques sont sorties de leur léthargie hivernale et cherchent à se nourrir.

En France les tiques les plus répandus sont les tiques dures (Ixodes).

Ces petits acariens passent par plusieurs stades de développement: larves, nymphes et adultes. À chacune de ces trois étapes de leur vie, elles font un unique repas de sang. Problème: au cours de ces repas, elles risquent de transmettre divers agents infectieux. Parmi ceux-ci, la bactérie Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, responsable de la maladie de Lyme (ou borréliose de Lyme).

EKIN spray d’été répulsif insecte a un effet biocide sur les tiques grâce à sa teneur en huile de NEEM et huile essentielle de lavandin. Présenté sous forme d’une huile sèche, il ne s’évapore pas et reste actif plus de 48H. Il empêche la progression des tiques sur les crins, les poils, et les tue.

Les zones du cheval à protéger plus particulièrement sont : la tête et l’encolure, le poitrail, les crinières et queues et les paturons.
